So I want to talk to you about Jason Guo.
I went to high school with him. He’s currently attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Here’s a few of his pieces.
I am really impressed with his work. I have been following him on facebook for the last few years as he goes through his journey of creating his portfolio. Here’s a link to his facebook page if you’re interested.
His art pieces include 14k gold castings, a steel cube that he has hit 999, 999 times with a hammer, moonshine, neon signs, $27,000 in $100 bills, nitrous oxide canisters, viagra, cocaine, Lacoste polos, and much more.
He has had countless shows in Chicago where he attends school, and the last piece shown, My First Red (2010), was actually on display at the National Art Gallery of Canada.
If you get a chance, please check out his work!
